Soft Touch Cushioned Bath Fixtures
For the Physically Challenged
by Diversified Fiberglass Fabricators,
Inc.
Roll-in Showers Designed for Special Needs.
DFF roll-in showers are specially designed to meet the needs
of people with physical limitations - at home or in medical centers. These
fixtures were developed to make bathing easier and safer for paraplegics,
hemiplegics, and other people with disabilities who need to shower from
a shower wheelchair. These showers may also be used as conventional showers
by people who wish to stand and shower. This dual function works well with
elderly or disabled people who live with a family where all family members
must use the same bathing fixture.
The showers are perfect for retrofit situations, because they are shipped in two sections which can pass through existing doorways (32" typical for wheelchair access). The showers can be recessed into the floor for level access or installed above the floor to be accessible with a ramp. The showers are constructed of fiberglass reinforced plastics for durability and long use.
