MISSION STATEMENT

It is the mission of the City of Cherryville Fire Department to respond to and mitigate emergencies involving incidents of fire, entrapments of persons, unplanned releases of dangerous material, and pre-hospital emergency medical incidents in addition to providing for the prevention and education of our citizens to ensure their safety from such emergencies.

Critical Goals

• Cherryville Fire Department become Accredited by the International Association of Fire Chief’s Accreditation Board
• Cherryville Fire Department lower its North Carolina Response Rating (ISO)
