A Word From Our Chief

Welcome to the Cherryville Fire Department website! Whether you are just visiting for pleasure or business reasons, our goal is to provide information about our department that will be helpful and interesting. This website is another method of allowing us to network and to provide you with insight into our organization. It is my desire that it be helpful to you.

We are a progressive small municipal fire department. Our population is approximately 5,600 and we protect approximately 4.2 square miles. Our average call volume per year is 1000 calls. The highest percentage of calls is for EMS at the first responder level.

We provide a full range of services by outstanding professional people. Our members are very proud of our community and what they do. We work hard and are committed to our vision of “Safeguarding our Community Through Exceptional Service.”
